Hello again! I’m so happy with the progress I’m making with this legacy because there might be a chance that this time round I’ll manage to finish it š Let’s hope I haven’t just cursed myself! xD Soo…on with the chapter…
Maggie and Chuck broke the news to their children the next morning; “Ellen…Nicolette,” Maggie told her two girls, “we’re going to be moving to a new house. Dad and I believe that it’s for the best. What with grandma and grandpa….Anyway, we feel the house is too big for just us five.”
“Are we going to stay in the same neighbourhood?” Ellen asked her sharply.
“Yes, but we’ll be on the other side of the valley.” Maggie answered.
“Well, it’s fine by me then. As long as we don’t get to chance schools I’m happy.” Ellen said simply.
Nicolette nodded her agreement.
Scott was given the news by his father and he took it well like his sisters only he decided to go harvest all of his grandmother’s plants before he left.
“I miss you grams.” he said softly as he detached the last fruit and made his way back inside.
It didn’t take long for the family to move into their new home.
It was a gorgeous little house in a very different style then their last one.

On the right side of the main door is the kitchen, accented with red appliances, cream furnitureĀ and a black tiled wall.
On the left side of the main door, there is a small living area, complete with an easel for Nicolette to paint on.
The dining room is in between the kitchen and the living area which makes the front room of the house a big open plan room consisting of the kitchen, dinig and living.
The main bedroom is one of the many rooms that lead off the dining room.
It is complete with an ensuite bathroom.

Life for the Autumns continued somewhat normally. Ellen loved reading cooking books in the new dining room.
Maggie and Chuck decided to move Emma and Cycl0n3’s graves into the Autumn garden too so that they would get a chance to haunt with their descendants and also because they were afraid that another move to a newĀ would cause Emma and Cycl0n3 to be angry.
Scott made up his mind that he was going to plant all of his grandmother’s previous plants and that he would take care of them yet he was greatly disappointed when he found out that the only knowledge he had was how to plant tomatoes.
“Well, it’s a start.” he told himself as he planted the tree tomatoe seeds he had in his pocket.
Nicolette resumed her painting on a new canvas because as she saw it, it was a new picture that her life was going to fill now.
The first party that was thrown in the new Autumn residence was Nicolette’s birthday party. During the party, Nicolette had a chance to get aquainted with her cousin Kiana who was born on the same day as her, Scott had the opportunity to talk to another girl in his class he also likes whereas Ellen took the time to get to know more her aunts.
Then just before dusk, it was time for Nicolette to reach her teenage years like her brother and sister.
She rolled the trait bookworm when she grew up and decided that her life time wish would be to become an Illustrious Author. This leaves only Ellen as the undecided one.
Both Chuck and Maggie are slowly but steadily climbing up the career ladder. Chuck is now an Editor in Chief and only one promotion away from reaching his life time dream. Maggie on the other hand is a Department Head and half-way through to achieving her dream.
When the weekend came, the family went on its long due family weekend outing. Chuck took the time to get to know his youngest daughter a bit better whilst Maggie chatted along with Claire who happened to be at the park.
Scott and Ellen picked up an old past-time.
“It’s been such a long time since we went fishing together.” Scott told his sister.
“Yes! We were just kids back then and…grandpa and grandma were still alive.” Ellen added biting her lower lip.
“Well, now they’re watching over us as we fish.” Scott told her, “Be positive Ellen! We all miss them terribly but we have to move on.”
One morning, whilst cooking a batch of pancakes, Ellen decided on what her lifetime wish would be. She wanted to know every recipie that existed and so become a known culinary librarian.
She gets points from me for rolling a wish that was never rolled in this legacy before.
I made a mistake and planned Scott’s birthday party on a school day which mean that his whole family was absent for his birthday, his many friend made up for it however. As you can see, Scott quite liked to keep female company during his highschool years, there were some friends who had joined the adult world before him and others that had yet to join it. All his friends cheered and Scott’s wish was to decide whom of his friends he liked best because though there were some that didn’t appeal to him, there were many who did.
Scott got the artistic trait when he grew up and I must say that I quite like his appearance. He does however have quite a large nose which is really visible when he’s in profile.
While his parents were at work and his sisters were at school, Scott got quite lonely and he often ended up chatting with the maid. The two were fast becoming friends in fact and Scott was surprised that the more he got to know her the less he saw her as a potential spouse and the more he got to see her as a friend.
“Well that is one off the list.” he would tell himself.
Selena Gordon was an entierly different story. At first he had only thought of her as an old high school friend but as he got to see more of her on his new found free time till he found employment, he often found himself waiting excitedly for the time when he could share jokes with her. When he finally found the courage to ask her out he was sad to learn that she already had a partner and so he decided to give up pursuing her wanting to stay out of trouble.
Whilst he pursued a different woman each week to maybe find one that he liked, Scott spent most of his time with his now best friend Trudy Lyons. Trudy understood him, she laughed at his outrageous jokes and she made some herself and she always knew how to console him when he told her of yet another unsucsessful endavour.
(Notice what I told you about Scott having a large nose. In game it actually looks bigger than in this shot)
Whilst things were going disastrous for Scott, it definately was the oppositeĀ for bothĀ Chuck and Maggie. Chuck finally reached his dream of becoming a Star News Anchor and Maggie continued rising up the ranks of the business career and is now a Vice PresidentĀ (lvl 7).
It wasn’t long after that it was time for Ellen’s birthday. As usual, the Autumns threw a huge party.
“Hey Nic!” a teenage boy said.
Nicolette turned around and was surprised to findĀ that a boy in her class was at her sister’s birthday party!
“Hey Tim!” she said smiling, well at least she had someone to talk to!
“I’m Trudy’s younger brother in case you’re wondering why I’m here.” he told her seemingly having read her mind.
“Oh! That explains everything! Your sister is my brother’s best friend! Though…it has been a while since they saw each other.”
And what Nicolette had said was true.
“Tru!” Scott exclaimed when he saw his best friend climb up the stairs to their front deck. “It’s been such a long time!”
“Scott!” Tru smiled and enveloped him in a tight friendship hug. “I want to know everything that has happened to you!” she told him and then she started showering him with questions.
Ellen’s party was a blast and everyone had a good time.
Ellen lived up to my expectations by growing up into a simply astounding young woman. As her 5th trait she gained natural cook.
Scott finally managed to find a job at the science facility. Even though he is only going to be a test subject, it’s a start.
To celebrate, the whole family went to Le Petit Shark Pool centre.Ā Chuck and Scott spent the whole day teasing eachother in the pool.
Whilst the two girls reclined on the deckchairs.
“How am I supposed to just lie and look good?” Nicolette asked her sister uncertainly.
“Just do what I’m doing.” Ellen smiled.
“Ok…ayy.” Nicolette said still unsure of what she was really supposed to do.
Oooooh and check this out! Family meets family! Blair and her son Douglas were also at the pool centre. Douglas has grown quite older now than we last saw him. He also has a little sister named Vicky. Yay for more game generated babies! š
A quick update on Chuck’s siblings: Percy is still married to Krissy but so far they have no kids. He still remains unemployed.
Suze’s partner Cory died of old age so now Suze is single again. She is also a Band Manager.
Mia is still going out with Derrell and though they have no kids, Mia has at least found a job on her own and she is in the business career and one of Maggie’s best friends because of this.
Blair as I have just said has two kids now, Douglas (teen) and Vicky (toddler) and they are both Leopold’s kids and the couple is still together. Blair works as a Minor Leaguer in the Athletic Career.
Claire remains with the just one daughter Kiana who’s a teen. Claire joined the Culinary Career and is a Kitchen Scullion.
And that’s it š
“Trudy!” Scott had just gone out of the Art Museum when he saw his best friend. As usual, the two hugged eachother and then started exchanging news, Scott happily saying that he had procured a job.
As they talked they drew closer and closer to each other and Scott couldn’t help but flirt with Trudy. Even though he had flirted with many women before, this felt new to him. She was beautiful! How blind had he been before? Why hadn’t he noticed it earlier!? Scott was worried now, what if when he made a move Trudy would rebuff him and not even want to be friends with him again? He knew after all that Trudy had committment issues.
So Scott was greatly surprised when it was Trudy who made the first move and kissed him.
Both of them were happy to discover that each of them liked each other. It was then that Scott told Trudy if she wanted to be his girlfriend. Trudy bit her lip before answering him, “I will, but please don’t break my heart.”
“I would never in the world think of doing that!” Scott answered her.
Ellen quickly followed in her brother’s footsteps…
She got a boyfriend too. Meet Leonardo Reinhardt whom I’m sure was born in game because I’ve seen that surname around long before he was born.
It wasn’t long after that Ellen had a job interview. She nailed it and got the job but she was even more pleased with the fact that she found Leonardo ready to give her support if she didn’t get the job, than with actually having got the job.
Chuck and Nicolette celebrated their birthdays together. I can’t believe that all the kids this generation will be adults now! And Chuck will be an elder already!
Nicolette grew up into a beautiful woman. She got the trait artistic when she grew up. I will try to put up an heirpoll over at boolprop when this chapter is up. I have a feeling that it’s going to be a tough choice.
I’ve included a picture of this painting that Nicolette finished because I think it is amazing and what I like even more is the fact that I never got to see it before even though I’ve been playing the Autumns for six generations now!
Scott proposed to Trudy and she said yes. š
“Hey Nicolette!” it was Tim, Trudy’s younger brother, “Looks like I’ll soon see you at a wedding.”
Nicolette took a moment to reply, truth was that she was completely breathless by how handsome he was now that he had grown up. “Uh…sure yeah!” she answered.
“Great! I’ll be seeing you around then!” he said as he resumed his morning jog.
It wasn’t long after that theĀ Autumns gathered around for a party. This time Ā it was Maggie’s time to grow up into an elder. Family members brought news with them, Chuck noticed that Mia and Suze had also aged up whereas Claire and Blair were still adults. Claire came with news that she was going to be a mum again! Wow what an age gap the children will have! Claire’s older daughter Kiana is already a young adult and she’s going to be having a baby sibling!
Speaking of which, here’s Kiana. I included a picture of her because I think she’s cute and because it’s not fair to include a picture of the Autumn’s other cousin Douglas (Blair’s son)Ā and leave out their eldest cousin, Kiana!
Everyone was present at the party except for Ellen. She was called in for work and didn’t come back home till late.
And just as many years ago…an older Nicolette is painting…
And older Ellen is reading a cooking book…
An older Scott is tending his now quite large garden…
And Chuck and Maggie are spending some time together. It was tough when the family first moved to the new house but eventually, everyone found his path in life.
